At one point in most military families, your service member will be deployed.
Care packages from home are always well received. There are several military-friendly companies that will assist in sending packages to loved ones.
Community Coffee
Order 4 bags or boxes of coffee from the Military Match Program, Community will automatically double to order to any overseas (APO/FPO) or stateside Military address. They will also send a free Military Match Mug. Find more information here!
Dunkin Donuts
Dunkin Donuts has a military coffee request program. You can submit the information of a deployed soldier and they may be chosen to receive a case of original ground coffee. Fill out the form here.
Hershey’s
The Hershey Company sends out care packages to deployed service members. Requests are filled on a first come first serve basis. Fill out the application here.
Crown Royal
Crown Royal is in a partnership with Packages from Home to send free packages to deployed service members. You select 4 items and they are sent free of charge packed in a Crown Royal bag. Pack a bag here.
Books for Soldiers
Soldiers can request books from Books for Soldiers. Fill out the request here. Volunteers can join the program here. Funds can be donated to help the program here.
Mailing kits
When mailing packages from home priority mail is usually the easiest option. You can order a military packing kit from USPS at no charge here
The kit includes:
•Two large priority flat rate boxes (12 x 12 x 5-1/2),
•Two medium priority flat rate boxes (11 x 8-1/2 x 5-1/2)
•Two medium priority flat rate boxes (13-5/8 x 11-7/8 x 3-3/8)
•Priority mail tape
•Priority mail address labels
•Customs forms and envelopes to attach the forms to the package.
